Safety, Regulation and Connection in Classrooms

This course provides educators with a foundational understanding of the neurobiology of regulation and its relationship to classroom learning. It explores how educators can design environments, routines, and responses that foster emotional safety and co-regulation. Participants will learn how to recognize dysregulation, reduce triggers, and support students’ access to learning through consistent, compassionate, and predictable practices.

This space will

  • highlight lived experiences shared by educators, students, families, and school teams. Over time, it will include podcasts, interviews, and submitted stories that connect to the course themes in practical and personal ways.

  • expand over time to include recommended readings, practical tools, system supports, and links to aligned professional learning. Whether you're looking to go deeper or bring ideas into your context, this space will support continued exploration.

Check back soon as this space begins to grow and if you have a story to share, we’d love to hear from you.
