The Belonging Project was born from a deep desire to reimagine how we approach inclusive education—not as an afterthought or a set of compliance checkboxes, but as something intentionally and beautifully designed. At the heart of this dream is the belief that inclusion doesn’t happen by chance. It takes story, strategy, and community.

Over the coming months, this platform will begin to take shape. You’ll see professional learning modules grounded in real-life narratives, a fictional Alberta school division designed to reflect the rich diversity of our schools, and tools that make inclusive practice feel both practical and possible. Whether you're an educator, a school leader, a parent, or a community advocate, this space is being built for you.

This is just the beginning. As the platform grows, I’ll be adding:

• Micro-credential courses on key inclusive practices

• Facilitator guides for collaborative learning

• Downloadable tools aligned with Alberta's Inclusive Education Principles

• Narrative libraries to help us learn through story
